HOUSTON – The ACU Wildcats will begin their final baseball season as an NCAA Division II institution on Friday, Feb. 1, when they take on Arkansas-Monticello in the first game of the Astros in Action D-II Invitational at Minute Maid Park, the home of the Houston Astros.
The Wildcats will play four games in Houston, beginning Friday and playing through Monday afternoon. ACU will play at 10 a.m. Friday in the first game of the invitational, which will also host Texas A&M-Kingsville, Central Missouri, Incarnate Word, Emporia State, Arkansas Tech and Tarleton State.
ACU will play at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, against traditional NCAA Division II powerhouse Central Missouri. Prior to the game, the ACU Alumni Association will host a pre-game party from 5-6 p.m. at the Minute Maid Park Champions Pavilion. Tickets to the games are $10 per adult and $5 for children and students for an all-day ticket (one ticket to see all four games each day), and parking will be $5 per vehicle.
