ACU-MSU LSC Opener Postponed

ABILENE – The 2010 Lone Star Conference opener for the Wildcat soccer team has been pushed back to Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. due to thunderstorms in the area Friday evening.

The Wildcats and Mustangs played 23 minutes Friday without a goal before lighting moved into the Abilene area. Due to NCAA rules the game will be restarted and played in its entirety when the two teams return to the Wildcat Soccer Pitch on Sunday. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m. for the new LSC opener for both teams.
