The ACU Wildcats beat Central Oklahoma, 3-0, in the Lone Star Conference Post-Season Tournament at Crutcher Scott Field to set a school record for wins in a season with 47. Unfortunately for the Wildcats, they lost twice to Angelo State over the next two days to lose the conference championship. Those two losses also kept the Wildcats -- despite their 47-13 record -- from advancing to the NCAA Division II South Central Region Tournament. However, in the win over the Bronchos, ACU closer Jameson Maj tied the NCAA Division II single-season record for saves with 20. He was later drafted and signed by the St. Louis Cardinals.
