High School: Whitney was a three-year starter at Lovejoy High and also started her freshmen year at West Orange High in Orlando, Florida … a pick for the Junior Olympics in 2008 traveling to Hawaii to compete against the nation’s best prep volleyball players … she helped lead her team to back-to-back Texas State Championships in 2008 and 2009 … she was a two-time all-District selection and also earned Academic all-District honors as well … Stevens was also a Class 3A Second Team all-State selection as a senior after helping her team win their second state title
Personal: Born July 7, 1991 in Papillion, Nebraska. A 2010 graduate of Lovejoy High School in Allen, Texas. Mother Audrey (Pope) Stevens was a two sports athlete at ACU in Basketball, ’81 and Track & Field ’81 & ’83.
