ABILENE - Abilene Christian volleyball will compete in nine matches versus in-state programs across its spring slate, including five at Moody Coliseum, the team released Tuesday. The Wildcats look to build upon a 2025 campaign that featured their most wins since 2018 and first conference tournament victory in eight years.
ACU opens the spring at the Ferrell Center in Waco, Texas on March 21, taking on UTSA at 3 p.m. and Baylor at 4:30 p.m. The Bears advanced to the second round of last season's NCAA Tournament and finished fifth in the Big 12 Conference standings.
The Wildcats will play another doubleheader on March 28 at the UNT Volleyball Center in Denton, Texas. ACU will meet Dallas Baptist at 11 a.m. before taking on host North Texas at 1 p.m. The Wildcats beat the Mean Green in a reverse sweep in the fall for a top-100 RPI win.
Following ACU's two matchups in Denton, the Wildcats will host a global service trip fundraiser at TopGolf The Colony on the evening of March 28. The evening will feature a presentation on the team ahead of a silent auction, light meal and golf outing and social hour. Proceeds support the program's global service trip to Sweden, Denmark and Germany in June.
ACU hosts three matches at Moody Coliseum on April 11, meeting Ranger College at 10 a.m., Weatherford College at 11:30 a.m. and Hardin-Simmons at 1:30 p.m.
The Wildcats wrap up their spring slate in Abilene on April 18, playing UT Permian Basin at 10 a.m. before battling West Texas foe Texas Tech at 2 p.m.
ACU returns 13 student-athletes from last season's roster, including All-Western Athletic Conference First Team honoree Hannah Gonzalez, Second Team selection Rachel Koss and All-Freshman Team members Hadlee Welch and Brennan Ramirez.
