Kelsey Ground joined the Abilene Christian women's basketball staff in May 2026 as the director of basketball operations. She previously served as an assistant coach and graduate assistant at Tarleton State during the 2025-26 season, where she assisted with recruiting efforts, practices, workouts and scouting.

Ground is coming off a career as a women's basketball student-athlete for the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Ark. from 2023-25. She scored 150 points in her senior season and averaged 5.6 points per game.

The Mineral Wells, Texas native scored over 2,000 career points at Millsap High School and was named the Parker County and District Offensive Player of the Year.

Off the court, Ground served as the SAAC director of social media and was a student assistant for the volleyball team at the University of the Ozarks. She was also an operations associate for Game On Arena Sports.

Ground earned a Bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of the Ozarks in 2025.
