Jazmyn Zurita serves as a graduate assistant and director of operations with the ACU track and field and cross country teams.
She spent the 2025-26 school year as a graduate assistant in the ACU ticketing and revenue generation department. She is pursuing her master's of business administration in marketing and is slated to graduate in spring 2027.
Zurita was a member of the track and field team at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville during the 2024 and 2025 outdoor seasons, and 2025 indoor season. While at SIUE, she was active with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes camps and was nominated for the female Cougar Cadre (track and field captain). She was elected to deliver the graduating speech to the SIU athletic student body. She also served as an athletic event assistant from 2023-25. Zurita graduated from SIU with a bachelor's degree in engineering in 2025.
Zurita graduated from Belleville East H.S. in Illinois in 2021. While at Belleville East, she competed at the Indiana H.S. State Championship on the 4x800 relay in 2019. During her senior year, she finished in 5th place in the Southwest Conference Girls 800-meter run. Zurita was a team captain as a junior and senior.
