2013-14 (sophomore):  Competed in 5 of 6 meets for Wildcats with best time of 29:46 for 8k at league meet Nov. 1 in Lake Charles.  He placed 83rd overall as Wildcats’ No. 7 runner for 10th place team.  Best finish was 44th at McMurry in season opener with 30:45.

2012-13 (freshman):  Finished among ACU’s top five runners in three of four of his meets in first season of collegiate competition in cross country.  Ran 30:02 at league meet in Lawton, Okla., for 8k as team’s sixth runner to place 61st.  Also ran 32:06 at Texas Tech and 31:41 at Oklahoma State in 8k races and 39:01 for 10k at Midwestern State.  He helped Wildcats to MSU team title by placing fifth (ACU’s fourth runner). Indoors he ran 2:01.91 in 800, 4:44.91 in mile and 11:26.73 in 3,000. Outdoors he improved to 2:00.86 in 800 and 4:18.85 in 1,500, but failed to score at league indoor or outdoor meet.

High School:  Cross country and track and field letterman.  Team was two-time TAPPS Class 4A state champs in 2011 as junior and 2012 as senior.  He twice was academic all-state.  Top times include 2:00 in 800 and 4:45 in 1600.  Member of National Honor Society.
