Cross Country – finished in the top 3 finishers for ACU in 5 of their 6 XC meets in Saylor’s debut season at the collegiate level. Later in the season, she was at her best – the 2 nd ACU finisher at the Chile Pepper Festival (107 th place overall); 3rd Wildcat finisher at the WAC Championship in Arlington (47 th overall); and the #2 finisher for the Purple and White at the South Central Region meet in Fayetteville (116 th overall).
Before ACU
Saylor competed for Rockwall HS, where she qualified to compete in the Region II-6A Championship all 4 years of high school. She won the District 10-6A title in the 3200 her sophomore year. During her senior year at Rockwall HS, she placed 4 th in the district XC meet in the fall and ran all three distance events at the District 10-6A meet in the spring, placing 2 nd in the 1600, 4 th in the 3200, and 5 th in the 800. That same year, she finished 2 nd at the TTFCA Meet of Champions in the 2000-meter steeplechase – posting the #10 best time in Texas in that event for the year. She was also the team captain for Rockwall HS. In addition to her success for Rockwall HS, Saylor enjoyed tremendous success at the USATF Junior Olympics. In 2023, running at the storied Hayward Field on the campus of the University of Oregon and competing in the 15-16- year-old division, she finished 2 nd in the 2000-meter steeplechase, 3 rd in the 3K, and 2 nd in the 1500. In 2024, competing at Cushing Stadium at Texas A&M University in the 17-18-year-old division, she won the 2000-meter steeple, as well as placing 3 rd in the 3K and 8 th in the 1500. Competing for the Texas Titans Track Club, she was an 11-time USATF Junior Olympic All-American. Her top times during her HS years include: 4:51.92 in the 1500, 5:12.94 in the 1500, 10:34.17 in the 3K; 11:18.58 in the 3200, and a time of 7:15.82 in the 2K steeplechase.
Personal
She graduated in the spring of 2025 from Rockwall HS, where she was also a member of the National Honor Society. She plans to major in Marketing at ACU. Her parents are Tami Harp and Sean Stevenson and Saylor has 1 brother, Brady. Her Mother played softball at the University of Oklahoma, where her Father also played football. Saylor is an active volunteer in the Kids Ministry at her home church, Lakepointe Church.
Why did you choose ACU? ACU has a good business program and I loved the team environment.
Favorite things at ACU? I love that there are small class sizes and a great community.
