Ryan Bornemeier – 6-0 – RS-Sr – Dalhart, TX – Hurdles/Jumps
2022-2023: Redshirt both indoors and outdoors due to a non-T&F related injury.
2021-2022: Indoors – at the WAC Championships, he was 10^th in the LJ, 13^th in the 60 hurdles and on the 5^th place Distance Medley Relay. Outdoors – placed 7^th in the 110 hurdles, 9^th in the long jump, 10^th in the 400 hurdles and ran on the 9^th place 4x4 relay at the WAC Championships. Also, was 5^th at the Wes Kittley Invitational in the LJ with an outdoor PR of 22-11.25/6.99 and 19^th at the Michael Johnson Invitational in the 110H with a PR of 14.58.

2020-2021: Indoors – placed 13^th in the 60 hurdles  and 21^st in the LJ at the SLC meet - this season was a redshirt for all T&F athletes due to pandemic. He also placed 8^th in the 60H at the Texas Tech Corky Classic. Outdoors – at the SLC meet, placed 17^th 110 hurdles and 18^th in both the 400 hurdles and LJ. Earlier in the season, he placed 6^th in the LJ at the Wes Kittley Invitational.

2019-2020: Indoors – competed in the 60 hurdles at the SLC championships. Outdoors – season cancelled due to pandemic – received a redshirt season.

Before ACU: In 2018 as a HS junior, Ryan placed 7^th in the Texas 4A 110 hurdles, after getting 2^nd in the Reg I-4A 110H, as well placing 4^th in the LJ and 6^th in the 300 hurdles at the regional meet. Ryan also was the starting quarterback in HS until he was injured in his HS senior year which caused him to be unable to compete in T&F his senior year.

Personal: Ryan graduated from Dalhart HS in 2019. He graduated from ACU in December, 2022, Magna Cum Laude with his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. He is now pursuing his Master’s degree is Strength, Conditioning, and Human Performance with plans to open his own athletic training facility to help athletes reach their goals at the next level of competition. His parents are Dan and Misty Bornemeier.
