2022-2023: Indoors – competed in 4 indoor meets for the Wildcats, with a highlight of placing 6^th in the Pittsburg State Invitational 800. At the end of the HS season, she scored at her first-ever collegiate conference meet by placing 8^th in the WAC indoor championship 800 – with a collegiate PR time of 2:14.34. Outdoors – ran in 4 outdoor meets, including placing 4^th in the Wes Kittley Invitational 400 and 2^nd in the Oliver Jackson Twilight 800 in an outdoor PR time of 2:14.58. She also ran the opening leg on the winning 4x400 relay at that meet. Finishing the season, she would place 18^th in the WAC outdoor championship 800. 

Before ACU: Played basketball and ran both XC and T&F for Sequim Senior HS. Went to the WA 2A state T&F meet three years. As a HS freshman she placed 5^th in the WA 2A 400. In her banner senior year, she won the WA 2A 800 and anchored the Wolves 4x400 relay win as well. She also competed in the Nike Outdoor Nationals meet in 2022 in Eugene and placed 7^th in the 800. Her HS bests display a striking versatility: She left Sequim HS as the school record holder in the 200, 400, 800 and a member of the school record 4x400 relay. Her HS PR’s include: 200 – 26.34; 400 – 57.35; 800 – 2:14.23; and 1600 – 5:03.91.

Personal: 2022 graduate of Sequim Senior HS and a member of the National Honor Society. Her parents are Douglas and Tracie Pyeatt. Her mother, Tracie, ran track for the University of Mary (Bismarck, ND) during college.  Riley is an Agribusiness major at ACU.
