2024-2025
Indoors – Nele competed in 3 meets in her first year back in competition since 2021. She placed 6 th in the TTU Stan Scott Invitational pentathlon with a collegiate best score of 3,414 points. At the WAC Championships, she was not able to finish the pentathlon, but she also compete in the open shot put, where she finished in 9 th , just inches out of 8 th place.
Outdoors – bounced back from a tough indoor season to compete in 8 meets. In her outdoor debut for the ‘Cats, she placed 4 th in both the javelin throw and the shot put, picking up an all-time best in the SP of 42-4/12.96m. That performance was followed by several top-10 performances: 4 th in the JT at the TTU Masked Rider; 1 st in the JT (with a personal best mark of 131 5/40.06m), plus a 3 rd place in the shot put; 8 th in the Michael Johnson Invitational at Baylor in the JT; and the Joe Gillespie, where she placed 2 nd in the JT and 6 th in the long jump. At the WAC Championship, she broke through to an All- WAC Conference performances as she placed 4 th in the heptathlon with a personal best mark of 4,992 points. In that heptathlon, she also ran personal bests in all three running events – 100 hurdles (13.87), 200 (26.83), and the 800 (2:25.78).

Before ACU 
Competed at the school and club level in Germany. In 2020, she placed 13th in the German Winter Championship javelin. In 2021, Nele placed 7th in the German Championship U18 pentathlon with a PR mark of 3,603 points. Since 2021, she has been rehabbing an injury that is now fully healed for competition in 2025.

Personal 
Nele is a graduate of the Anna Schmidt Schule in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Her parents are Michael and Sonja Huth and she has one brother, Mika. At ACU, Nele is majoring in Journalism.
