Before ACU
Mackenzie won the Region I-4A triple jump all 4 years competing for the Porcupines of Springtown HS, thus going to the state meet in every year of HS competition. She placed 7 th at 4A state her freshman year, 4 th as a sophomore, 6 th as a junior and 2 nd as a senior. As a senior, she also finished 5 th in the Region I-6A long jump. Also as a senior, she jumped her personal best of 40-7.75/12.39m in winning the District 7-4A triple jump, a mark that put her at #9 in Texas and #36 in the U.S. among all high school jumpers. She also placed 2 nd at the prestigious TTFCA Meet for Champions. Indoors as a senior, she won the North Texas Showcase triple jump, with a jump of 38- 6/11.73m – the #3 best indoor triple jump for a Texas HS athlete in 2025. Mackenzie left Springtown HS as the school record holder in the triple jump, long jump, and on the 4x100 relay. She also finished her career as the Region I-4A record holder in the triple jump.

Personal
Mackenzie is a 2025 graduate of Springtown HS, where she was also named Academic All-District. Her parent’s are Amanda and Allen Flaugher, Jr. She also has 4 sisters – Kali, Isabella, Eleanor, and Elizabeth. At ACU, she is majoring in Kinesiology.
