Biography

2025-2026
Cross country – competed in all 6 XC meets for the Wildcats. She finished the season strong as the was in the top 4 ACU finishers in the final 4 meets, including the 3 rd best ACU finisher at the Chile Pepper Festival in Fayetteville. She was the 4 th best ACU finisher at both the WAC Championship in Arlington (43 rd place) and the South Central Region meet in Fayetteville (147 th place).

2024-2025
Cross country – Hadley competed in 4 meets over the season and she began to show steady improvement over the final 3 meets of the season. That string started when she ran her fastest 6K (22:44) at the Arturo Barrios (#6 ACU finisher) and continued as Hadley finished 51st the WAC Championship (#6 ACU finisher). She finished her season as the #7 ACU finisher at the South Central Region XC Championship.
Indoors – she did not compete indoors.
Outdoors – ran in 5 meets, including a 6 th place finish at the Bobcat Invitational in San Marcos in the 10K with a personal best of 40:12.12 and a 10 th place finish in the TCU Horned Frog 5K with a personal best of 18:50.12. She finished the outdoor season at the WAC Championship by finishing 14 th in the 10K and 26 th in the 5K.

2023-2024 
Indoors - competed in 3 indoor meets, including a 4th place finish in the JD Martin Invitational 3K in Norman, OK. She did not compete in the conference championship. Outdoors – ran in 5 meets outdoors and finished the season by placing 7th in the 5K at the Corky/Crofoot Invitational at Texas Tech. She did not compete in the conference championship.  

Before ACU 
Hadley competed for China Spring, outside Waco, for her HS career. In her soph year, she competed in the 4A XC state meet and on the track, she just missed going to state finishing 3rd in the Region III-4A 800. Competing as a junior, she would finish 15th at the Reg III-4AXC meet (59th at the 4A state XC meet) and again just miss the state meet finishing 3rd in the Region III 4A 3200, as well as finishing 4th in the 1600. China Spring was moved into a new district and region for the 2022-2023 school year and Hadley finished 18th in the Region II-4A XC meet, before running in the District 23-4A track meet, where she finished 6th in the 3200 and 7th in the1600. She was on the TGCA All-State XC team in both 2020 and 2021 and on the TGCA Academic All-State XC team in 2022. In addition to XC and T&F, she also lettered in basketball and golf.

Personal 
2023 Graduate of China Spring HS, where she was a Top 10% graduate. She was also active with Hoops for Hope International, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and worked at the T-Bar-M Camps while in HS. She received the KWTX Texas Best Chevy Dealers Classroom Champion in 2023. At ACU, she is working toward her degree in Kinesiology, with minors in Biology and Biblical Studies, with a goal of graduate school and eventually, being a college professor. At ACU, she is a teaching assistant for the Biology Department and she has appeared on the Dean’s List in three of her first 4 semesters at ACU. She has also been a volunteer for the Pioneer Drive Baptist Church Youth Ministry. She spent this past summer as a coach/camp counselor at T Bar M Camps. Her parents are Jason and Jennifer Phillips and she has a brother, Hudson, when enters Texas A&M University as a student this fall. Her Father played basketball for Hardin-Simmons.

What I love the most about ACU? At ACU I belong to communities that encourage me, see the best in me, and point me back to Jesus – whether it’s my teammates, professors, classmates, church community, or friends.
