Before ACU
Darinasia finished her HS career for the Rockets of Converse Judson HS having qualified for the 6A state meet 3 of her 4 years. Her senior year she won the Reg IV-6A 100, was on the winning 4x100 relay, and was 2 nd in the 200. At the 6A state meet, she sustained an injury during the 100 and was unable to start the 200. During her senior year, she ran a personal best in the 100 of 11.62 (#ranked #35 in Texas and #94 in the U.S.) and in the 200 of 24.03 (ranked #37 in Texas). As a junior, she placed 3 rd at the Region IV-6A 100, only .09 out of first, but just missed going to state. The summer after her junior year competing for the San Antonio Swift Track Club, she ran the 3 rd leg on the 8 th place 4x400 at the USATF National Junior Olympics held that year at EB Cushing Stadium on the Texas A&M campus. As a sophomore, she placed 4 th in the Region IV-6A 100 and went to state on the Judson 4x100 relay. Beginning her HS career, she placed 8 th at the Region IV-4A 100 and went to state on the 4x200 relay.
Personal
Darinasia graduated from Judson HS in 2025. Her Mother is Natoshia Potts. She also has a brother – Keyon Sweat – and 2 sisters, Destiny and Delondra Sherman. She is majoring in Business Management at ACU.
