2023-24 Track & Field Roster
Biography
2022-2023: Indoors – placed 15th in the TTU Jarvis Scott Open 800 in a new PR of 2:20.82. Finished the indoor season by scoring at conference by running the 3rd leg on the 5th place 4x400 relay and the 800-meter leg on the 8th place Distance Medley Relay. Outdoors – competed in 6 outdoor meets. Placed 2nd in the Wes Kittley Invitational 400H and 5th in the Oliver Jackson Twilight 400H. At the WAC Championship, she ran a new PR of 1:02.96 in getting 15th in the 400H and ran the 3rd leg on the 2nd place 4x400 relay.
2021-2022: Indoors – scored by running the 800 meter leg of ACU’s 8th place distance medley relay at the WAC championship. Outdoors – placed 17th in the WAC 400 hurdles. Also placed 4th in the Oliver Jackson Twilight 400 hurdles.
2020-2021: Indoors – at the SLC championship, she placed 13th in the 800 and ran on the 9th place distance medley relay. All T&F athletes can count this as a redshirt season due to the pandemic. Outdoors – Courtney placed 14th in the SLC championship 400 hurdles, but scored at the meet by running the 3rd leg of the 4th place 4x400 relay. Earlier in that season, she also placed 4th in the Wes Kittley Inv 400 hurdles with a PR time of 1:04.45.
Before ACU: In 2019 as a HS junior, Courtney placed 7th in the 5A 300 hurdles. Her senior season was shortened by the pandemic.
Personal: She is a 2020 graduate of Amarillo HS. At ACU, she is an Accounting major, a Presidential Scholar and has been on Dean’s List. Her parents are Clint and Lachelle Latham – Lachelle also attended ACU in the 1990’s.
