Brielle Collett, an ACU letter winner from 2015-18, was hired as the Abilene Christian Track and Field jumps coach in August 2020.

Collett spent the 2019-20 season at Angelo State where she ran cross country and was a graduate assistant coach working with the long, triple, and high jump events. The men's team won its first ever indoor Lone Star Conference Championship in 2020 and the women's team were indoor runner-ups. 

A multi-athlete and one-year cross country (2016) harrier for the Wildcats, Collett received her undergraduate degree in kinesiology from ACU in 2019. She then transitioned to a student assistant coach, working with the Wildcats' jumps and multi athletes.

Collette's father, Rick, was a collegiate triple jumper and NCAA All-America whose personal best stands at 53-5. He competed for the Wildcats from 1983-87.
