Before ACU
Ciara enjoyed an outstanding for the Bobcats of Refugio HS, one of the premier 2A T&F programs in the state. In her senior year of HS, she won the discus and was 2 nd in the shot put as the Bobcats finished 2 points out of first place as a team behind Panhandle. That year, Ciara also placed 9 th at the Texas Relays discus. Her personal best throw in the discus of 150-3/45.80m placed her #16 in Texas and #62 in the U.S. and her personal best throw of 44-4/13.51 in the shot put placed her #23 in Texas and #86 in the U.S. As a HS junior, she placed 4 th in the discus and 5 th in the shot put on the Refugio team that tied for the championship with Panhandle. As a freshman, she got her HS career off to a sterling start as she was the runner-up in the 2A shot put. She completed her HS career as the school record holder in both throws.

Personal
Ciara is a 2025 graduate of Refugio HS. Her parents are Chris and Destiny Tilley and she has a brother – Devon. She is a Kinesiology major at ACU.
