Biography

2023-2024: Indoors – Brianna competed in 4 meets indoors. Highlights from her season include a 3 rd
place finish in the LJ at the Charlie Thomas Invitational in College Station and a 4 th place finish in the LJ
at the JC Martin Invitational in Norman, OK. She finished the indoor season by placing 13rd in the LJ and
22 nd in the 60 at the WAC Championship held at the Albuquerque Convention Center. Outdoors – started
the season well, at the Wes Kittley Invitational at Elmer Gray Stadium – placing 2 nd in the LJ and 4 th in the
100) but soon after that meet, she was injured and received a medical redshirt year outdoors.
Before ACU: Spent her first 2 years competing for Houston Christian University (the former Houston
Baptist University). As a freshman in 2022 in the SLC indoor championship, she placed 7 th  in both the
long jump and the 60 (running a PR of 7.66 in the prelims). Outdoors that same year, she placed 7 th  in
the 100 and 11 th  in the LJ, as well as running on the 7 th  place 4x100 relay. As a sophomore in 2023,
indoors she placed 19 th  in the LJ and 24 th  in the 60 at the SLC championships. Outdoors in 2023 at the SLC
she placed 4 th  in the LJ (with a PR of 20-5/6.22m) and 9 th  in the 100 in a PR time of 11.90.
 
Before college: Competed for Kennedale HS, where she was a teammate of Gracyn Reed, her current
ACU teammate. In her senior year in 2021, Brianna had an incredibly successful 4A state meet. She won
the long jump and finished 4 th  in the 100 and triple jump, as well as anchoring the winning 4x100 and
4x200 relays, as she helped lead Kennedale to the 4A state girls title.

Personal: Brianna graduated from Kennedale HS in 2021. Her parents are Willie and Marguerite Brand.
Her major at ACU is Kinesiology-Generalist, with a projected graduation date of May, 2025.
Why did you choose ACU? I selected ACU for its exceptional academic programs and strong athletic
offerings, as both aspects align with my personal aspirations and professional objectives. The
university’s commitment to fostering a well-rounded education and its vibrant sports culture truly
resonate with my ambitions for growth and success.

What is your favorite thing about ACU? What I love most about ACU is the incredible support I receive
from my peers. It’s amazing how the people around me ignite my drive and inspire me to keep growing
and pushing forward on my journey.
