Cassie Kelley is entering her second year with the Wildcats in the 2020-21 season. Kelley started at ACU in July 2019 as a Media Relations Coordinator where she is the primary contact for both indoor and beach volleyball, men's basketball, and softball.
Cassie earned her bachelor of science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Ohio Valley University (Vienna, WV) in 2012. She then earned her master's degree in Kinesiology with a focus in sports management from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, graduating in May 2019.
Prior to arriving at ACU, Kelley had three previous years experience in the sports information industry. She spent one year as a graduate assistant in the sports information department at her alma mater, Ohio Valley, where she was the contact for volleyball, men's basketball, softball, and women's indoor and outdoor track and field. She then spent two years as a graduate assistant for the Point Loma Sea Lions working in their Athletics Marketing and Communications department. While in San Diego, she was the primary contact for volleyball, women's basketball, and men's and women's tennis including being a part of the gameday staff for all home events.
During her time at Point Loma, she also volunteered for several major sporting events including the Farmer's Insurance Open at Torrey Pines in both 2018 and 2019 as well as at the 2019 Rose Bowl. She also worked several major events for the Sea Lions including hosting NCAA DII West Regional tournaments for men's soccer and men's basketball during her time there.
Cassie is a native of South Point, Ohio and currently resides in Abilene. She is also an active member of CoSIDA.
