Turner will be the starter at right tackle once again in 2009.

2008 (Sophomore): Turner became one of the most dominant linemen in the Lone Star Conference in 2008, serving as a key cog on an offensive line that allowed just eight sacks on the season. Turner started all 12 games at right tackle for the Wildcats. Turner was voted second team all-LSC South Division as a sophomore.

Pre-ACU: Following his high school career he signed with Colorado State, but didn’t play for the Rams. Played as a freshman at Trinity Valley Junior College, starting at left tackle in 2006. Turner then transferred to Northeastern State prior to the 2007 season, but did not play for the RiverHawks.

High school: Named his team’s MVP after his senior season. Turner earned three varsity letters and was a three-year starter. Turner played in the Texas High School Coaches’ Association All-Star Game following his senior season.
