High School: As a senior in 2013, Ausborne was a second team all-District 16-4A selection at safety. As a junior in 2012, Ausborne started at safety for the Lions during their 13-2 Class 4A Division I state semifinal run in 2012. He finished tied for second on the Lions’ defense in 2012 with 86 tackles and led JT with six interceptions. He also had one fumble recovery. Ausborn was a high school teammate of fellow ACU signee Travaughn Moore. Played at Tyler John Tyler for head coach Ricklan Holmes.
