Grandfather, Dewitt Jones, was ACU's head football coach from 1977-78, earning an 18-4-1 record, including the 1977 NAIA Division I national championship
Great-Grandfather, Garvin Beauchamp, was ACU's head football coach from 1950-1955, earning a 39-18-4 record which was highlighted by the program's only undefeated, untied season in 1950 (11-0 record)
