2016 (Freshman): Redshirt season.

High school: Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) Class 4A Male Athlete of the Year in 2015-16. Roberson, a first-team, All-State running back, capped off a highly decorated senior year with the TAPPS honor. Roberson was also the Div. II District 1 offensive MVP and the Week 10 Texas Ford Built Tough private school player of the week. He rushed for 2,784 yards on 305 carries with 43 touchdowns for the 13-1 state champion Cardinals in 2015. He rushed for 4,305 yards and 72 touchdowns in three years as a starter. Roberson also qualified for the state track and field meet in the discus as well as the 400 and 800 meter relays. He won a bronze medal in the 400 relay.
