2017: Redshirt season.

High School: Williams helped lead Lone Star HS to a 10-2 record in 2016 and District 13-5A title. He was named First team all-District 13-5A cornerback as a senior in 2016. He finished the 2016 season with 79 tackles (52 solo), 23 pass breakups and six interceptions. Over two seasons, Williams helped his team to a combined 29-3 record and a pair of district championships. Lone Star HS reached the Class 5A Division II state semifinals in his junior season and reached the second round in 2016. Williams also lettered in basketball and track and field.
