Biography

2009 (Junior): Played in 12 of 13 games in first year with Wildcat after transfer from league rival Angelo State. Caught 16 passes for 159 yards (9.9 yards per catch) with long of 23. Had 3-catch games vs. Texas A&M-Commerce in the Cotton Bowl, Eastern New Mexico and West Texas A&M. One catch in each NCAA Division II playoff game.

2008 (Junior): Redshirt.

2006-07 (Angelo State):  As a sophomore, Fowler led the Rams in receiving with 38 catches for 616 yards and 5 touchdowns while earning honorable mention all-LSC South Division.  He recorded a pair of 100-yard receiving games in 2007, finishing with 5 catches for 118 yards in a 44-16 loss to Midwestern State, and the next week catching 8 passes for 130 yards and 1 touchdown in a 28-21 double overtime win over Eastern New Mexico.  As a freshman in 2006, Fowler caught 5 passes for 71 yards.  In two career games against ACU, Fowler caught 5 passes for 57 yards and 1 touchdown with all of those totals coming in a 52-28 ACU win in 2007.

High school:  Three-time all-district pick, and he was twice named academic all-district.  As a senior in 2005 he was team MVP and team captain, and he was named the Austin Anderson HS Male Athlete of the Year.  Fowler also lettered in baseball and track and field. 

Personal:  Born 27 Nov 1987.  2006 graduate of Anderson High School in Austin, Texas.
