High School: Named 3-4A district 2 first-team pre-season defensive MVP, first-team all-district defensive end, first-team all Wise county defensive end and Texas AP 4A honorable mention all-state defensive lineman his senior year. As a junior was named 3-4A D2 first-team all-district defensive tackle and first-team all Wise county defensive tackle. Had 130 career tackles, 32 for loss, six forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries and nine sacks. THSCA honorable mention academic all-state his senior year.

Personal: Son of Richard and Deidra Pierce. Born 25 March 1998 in Decatur. Grandfather, Tommy Paddock played football at Tarleton State University. Graduated from Bridgeport High School in 2016.
