2009 (Junior): Played in 12 of 13 games with a total of 27 tackles, including 13 solo. Also had 3.5 tackles behind the line of scrimmage, 2.5 sacks, 3 pass breakups and 4 QB hurries. Had fumble recovery in win over SE Oklahoma State and interception in season-opening win over nationally-ranked NW Missouri State. Returned his INT for 37 yards.
2008 (Sophomore): Played in 11 games and finished the season with 13 tackles, including 8 solo and 1 tackle for a loss. He also had 1 interception and recovered 2 fumbles. In the Wildcats’ 56-11 win over Eastern New Mexico on Sept. 27, Carr recovered a fumble (intercepting an option pitch in mid-air) and returned it 3 yards for a touchdown midway through the third quarter, pushing ACU’s lead to 42-11.
2007 (Freshman): Played in 12 games with one start as a freshman linebacker, finishing with 23 tackles (11 solo), including 2.0 tackles for loss. He also had 1 quarterback hurry and 1 pass breakup. He recorded a career-high five tackles in the Wildcats 52-28 win at Angelo State on Oct. 13.
2006 (Freshman): Redshirt.
High school: A four-year letter winner at Canadian HS, Carr helped his team to a combined record of 34-5 over his final three seasons with a state semifinal appearance in 2004. As a senior in 2005 he recorded 40 tackles and 4 interceptions as a defensive back to go along with 40 catches for 570 yards as a receiver. As a senior he was a first team all-district performer as both a cornerback and wide receiver. He was selected to the Amarillo Globe-News all-area Super Team as a defensive back.
