Biography
2021-2022: Indoors – Ran in 2 indoor meets, but did not compete in the WAC indoor championship. Outdoors – just missed the finals in the 400 hurdles, getting 9th place in the WAC Championship prelims. He also placed 19th in the Michael Johnson Inv 400 hurdles with a new PR time of 54.65.
2020-2021: Indoors – Placed 13th in the Texas Tech Inv 600 with a PR time of 1:26.63, but did not compete in the WAC indoor championship (this season was a redshirt for all T&F athletes due to pandemic) Outdoors – at the SLC outdoor championship, he placed 17th in the prelims of the 400 hurdles, as well as placing 7th in the 400H at the Wes Kittley Inv.
2019-2020: Indoors – Ran in 3 meets indoors, but did not compete in the SLC indoor championship. Outdoors – season cancelled due to the pandemic – all T&F athletes received a redshirt season.
Before ACU: Competed for Canyon HS in Canyon Country, CA.
Personal: Jimmie is a 2018 graduate of Canyon HS and his Mother is Yoshicka Horton.
