High School: Competed in hurdles and high jump for coach Darin Shaw. Had best marks of 5-4 in HJ and 15.02 and 46.32 in hurdle events. As senior at District 25-5A won third title in HJ and finished runner-up in both hurdle events. District champion in HJ as freshman and sophomore, 300 hurdles as junior, 100 hurdles as sophomore. Also competed in Texas Relays. Team captain and academic all-district. Member of National Honor Society.
