2010 Outlook: Talented sprinter and relay runner who returns for third season with the Wildcats in 2009 after running legal 10.49 (1.9) as frosh and 10.43 (2.0) as soph despite injuries. 

2009 Track and Field (Sophomore): Lone Star Conference champ in 100 at 10.52w in Kingsville. National qualifier in 100 and 200, but failed to advance after 10.59 and 21.83 in prelims. Ran 10.43 at ACU triangular March 26. Best 200 was windy 21.00 at Tech. Regular on 4x100 team that won LSC title in 40.85, placed fourth in NCAA in 40.43 and ran best of 40.36 at Oliver Jackson Classic. Also saw some duty on 4x400. Indoors ran 6.39 in 55 at Tech, 6.82 for win in 60 at Lincoln and 21.75 in 200 at Lincoln. Member of 4x400 at NCAA indoor meet that placed second in 3:14.88.

2008 Track and Field (Freshman): National qualifier indoors in 60 and 200, but injuries hampered outdoor season. At NCAA indoor meet ran 6.81 for sixth in 60 (after 6.75 in prelims) and 21.80 for second in 200 (with best of 21.42 at Texas Tech). Also ran on 4x400 relay team that placed eighth in national indoor meet. Other outdoor bests included 21.36 for 200. Also national qualifier outdoors in 100, but did not advance from prelims (10.77). Highlights included third assignment on season best 39.97 in 4x100 relay for win at Texas Tech.

High School: Two-time champion in 200 in District 3-5A and two-time state qualifier. As senior in 2007 won district in 21.54 and finished second in region (21.41) and fifth in state (21.61). As junior in 2006 won district in 21.62 and regional in 21.39 and finished fourth in state in 21.45. Also ran on 4x200 and 4x400 relay teams.
