2010 Outlook: Former Texas high school state champion in discus throw who should contend for conference and national honors in throwing events. LSC hammer champion as freshman. 

2009 Track and Field (Sophomore): Redshirt outdoors. Indoors had best of 53-7.5 in weight throw at Tech.

2008 Track and Field (Freshman): Had top outdoor marks in first season with Wildcats of 46-6.25 in shot, 184-1 in discus (to win ACU twilight) and 186-7 in hammer (to win at McMurry). National outdoor qualifier for NCAA meet with non-scoring throws of 149-6 (16) in discus and 178-6 (11) in hammer. At LSC meet also finished fourth in discus (157-8) and 14th in shot with 167-5 win in hammer. Also as freshman had win at Baylor in discus in 169-10 and hammer wins at Texas Tech (179-2) and Baylor (169-0).

High School: Texas Class 5A champion in 2007 and runner-up as junior in 2006 in discus throw. On performer lists ranked second in Texas and No. 11 in nation in discus in 2007 with best of 191-8 in Dallas on March 24 at Jesuit Relays. Won 5A title with 187-5 in 2007 and threw 177-7 for runner-up as junior. Also had toss of 56-0.75 in shot put in 2007. Topped 180 in seven meets as senior and won Texas Relays high school DT at 178-1. Double winner in DT and SP at district and regional meets in 2007 and placed seventh in SP in Austin at 48-9. As junior he won district in DT and placed fifth at Texas Relays and second in region. As soph he was district champ in DT and regional qualifier. Also three-year letterman in football and member of 2004 Texas Class 5A Division I state championship team. Career marks as TE?include 43 catches for 625 yards and five TDs. All-district, all-East Texas, second team all-state and first team academic all-state as senior in 2006.

Personal: Father Gary was ACU football letterman and captain, grandfather Robbie was ACU football and track and field letterman, and uncle Randy was ACU track letterman. Born 09 Feb 1989. 2007 graduate of Lee High School in Tyler.
