2010 Outlook: Returns to the Wildcats for her senior season in 2010 after fine junior campaign in 2009.  She was the third ranked collegiate performer in U.S. with Texas Relays title and another dominating NCAA Division II win in the javelin. IAAF world junior champion in 2002. She became third ACU female to win national championship in javelin, joining Sonya Smith (1984 and 1985) and Geraldine George (2000), and she trailed only two seniors on 2009 U.S. women’s collegiate performer list.

2009 Track and Field (Junior): Undefeated outdoors in six collegiate meets in her specialty, concluding with 162-11 for rain-delayed win in San Angelo at NCAA Division II national meet.  Also won with 184-6 in Austin at Texas Relays and 161-0 in Kingsville at LSC championships.  Also won JT in meets at ACU, Tarleton State and Baylor.  Only women with longer collegiate throws were Kara Patterson of Purdue (209-9) and NCAA Division I champ Rachel Yurkovich of Oregon (195-7).

2008 Track and Field (Sophomore): At NCAA Division II outdoor meet in Walnut, Calif., she had the longest three throws in the competition and won with season best of 169-9 to set meet record and help Wildcats to team title. She was runner-up at Baylor in April with 154-7, seventh at Texas Relays with 154-3 and fourth at Penn Relays with 152-11. Also LSC title winner with 162-10 as team repeated as champion.

International Career: Has a personal best in the javelin of 195-10 (59.69), which she accomplished Dec. 5, 2007, in Riga, Latvia. In 2001, she was fifth in the javelin at the European Junior Championships (171-10, 52.39), and the next year she won the IAAF World Junior Championships in Kingston, Jamaica, with a mark of 181-7 (55.35). IAAF series was 169-5, foul, 176-0, 181-7, 165-6, 169-1.
