Biography

 

Pacheco got off to a solid start in 2007, but his season was hampered by a shoulder injury suffered Feb. 23 at Northeastern State.  He’ll battle Thomas Bumpass for the starting job at second base.  2007 (Junior):  Shoulder injury limited Pacheco to just 29 games after he started each of the Wildcats’ first 14 games, hitting .412 in those first 14 games.  He missed exactly one month after his Feb. 23 injury before appearing in a March 23 game at Central Oklahoma.  The best game of his season came after his shoulder injury when he went 4 for 6 with two runs scored and three RBI_in an April 3 win over Incarnate Word.  2005-06 (Chabot College):  As a sophomore, Pacheco was a first team all-Northern California selection._ As a second baseman for Chabot he hit .395 with eight doubles and 41 stolen bases._ During the conference season he hit .440 and was a first team all-Coast Conference selection.  As a freshman in 2005, he led Chabot College to the Coast Conference championship.  High school:  As a senior he hit .533 at St. Anthony HS.  He also lettered three times in football, four times in soccer and four times in track and field.  He set state records in the 100 meters (10.78), and he won the state title in 2004 in the 200 meters.  Personal:  Born 13 March 1985.  2004 graduate of St. Anthony High School.
