ACU Athletics Raises $1 Million in 5th Straight Record Year of ACU Gives

Just over $1 million was raised by Abilene Christian Athletics during the 2026 ACU Gives campaign in late April, more than doubling the total from last year's event and marking the fifth consecutive year for a record-setting number of gifts and donated dollars.

The final total of $1,001,000 is an increase of 110% from the approximately $475,000 raised during the event in 2025.

"We continue to be blown away by the generosity of our supporters and fans who believe in our programs, student-athletes, coaches, administration and university mission," ACU vice president for athletics Zack Lassiter said. "These gifts provide significant momentum for our entire department and are critical to the future of our 15 athletic programs. The continued progress we have made in fundraising during ACU Gives is nothing short of phenomenal."

The men's basketball program raised the most money during ACU Gives with $255,615 in donations. The baseball team's 137 unique gifts led all Wildcat programs.

The university as a whole raised nearly $1,450,000 during this year's ACU Gives.

Since 2022 more than $2.2 million has been donated to ACU Athletics during the five-year history of ACU Gives.
