
Two Wildcats Named Academic All-ASUN

Abilene Christian men's tennis players Merse Deli and Ethan Scribner were each recognized on the Academic All-Atlantic Sun (ASUN) Conference Team, as announced by the league Monday morning.
To qualify for the honor, a player must achieve at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA, participated in at least 50% of his team's matches during the season, be at least a junior academically, and have been at his institution for more than one year.
Deli, a junior from Budapest, Hungary, has won six of his last seven singles matches, and five in a row. He has earned a 3.64 GPA as a kinesiology major.
Scribner, a senior from Plano, has competed in 12 of ACU's 17 matches this spring with four straight wins in singles, and five consecutive in doubles. As a marketing major, he has compiled a 3.83 GPA.
ACU is an affiliate member of the ASUN in men's tennis due to only one other Western Athletic Conference member, UT Arlington, sponsoring the sport.
