Weather Forces Wildcat Track to Forgo Friday's Meet

ABILENE - The Abilene Christian track and field team has decided to not travel to Lubbock, Texas for Texas Tech's Stan Scott Invite due to anticipated poor driving conditions caused by freezing precipitation Friday afternoon and evening, head coach Miles Smith announced Thursday.

Smith said the decision was made in the best interest of the safety of student-athletes and staff.

The Wildcats' next scheduled meet is the Robert Platt Invitational, hosted by the University of Houston on Jan. 30-31.
