ACU Athletics has officially launched its new podcast, which aims to connect Wildcat fans to the student-athletes and coaches they cheer on, and tell their stories in a deeper way.
The ACU Sports Podcast is available to listen and download for free at
acusports.com/podcasts.
"We have made a commitment to tell our student-athletes' stories more frequently and in new ways," said ACU assistant AD for media relations
Evan Nemec. "The audio medium can draw the listener in much more than written words or even video. Being able to have longer conversations with our student-athletes and coaches than what usually takes place during a press conference or interview will allow ACU fans to learn more and get to know our Wildcats on a different level.
"We know we have incredible stories on our teams, and we are excited to share them."
The current episode of the ACU Sports Podcast features quarterbacks Stone Earle and Cade Fennegan. They sit down with Nemec to talk about both being married, how they've handled the highs and lows of modern college football, and why each decided to come (or, in Earle's case, come back) to ACU.
A soft launch of the first episode was released on Sept. 11. ACU head coach Keith Patterson talked about the win over Stephen F. Austin, looked ahead to the game at TCU, how much sleep he gets, and his morning routine among other topics.
