
Wildcats Release 2025 Volleyball Promotional Schedule

ABILENE - Abilene Christian volleyball's 2025 schedule features a range of promotional efforts across the Wildcats' 11-match home slate at Moody Coliseum this season. Each match includes numerous fan engagement initiatives that seek to highlight the spirit and passion of ACU and the Big Country.
ACU opens the campaign with its annual Wildcat Classic on Aug. 29-30, hosting Missouri State, Incarnate Word and Oklahoma at Moody Coliseum. It serves as the team's Alumni Weekend, welcoming former players and graduates of the program back to Abilene to support this year's squad.
The Wildcats' season opener versus the Bears on Friday, Aug. 29 is Alumni Night, with ACU former students invited to showcase the spirit of their alma mater and connect with fellow alumni. First serve is at 7 p.m.
The Wildcats host Pancakes and PJ's on Saturday, Aug. 30 at 10 a.m. versus Incarnate Word. Fans are encouraged to wear their pajamas to the morning matchup and enjoy breakfast at Moody Coliseum.
ACU wraps up the Wildcat Classic later in the day at 3 p.m. against Oklahoma, the first-ever Southeastern Conference team to take on the Wildcats in Abilene. It's a Purple Match, with fans invited to don ACU apparel, pack the stands and create a distinct home-court advantage for the Wildcats.
The Wildcat Classic is followed by the program's First Serve Dinner at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 30. Fans are invited to meet the Wildcats and gain a preview of the 2025 season while connecting with former players and supporters of the program. Proceeds from the evening support the team's 2026 international trip to Denmark, Sweden and Germany.
ACU returns to Moody Coliseum on Wednesday, Sept. 3 at 6 p.m. to meet Northwestern State on Hawaiian Night. Polynesian spirit and culture will be recognized and celebrated throughout the match through a series of activities.
The Wildcats face Tulsa in their final nonconference home match on Monday, Sept. 15 at 3 p.m. It's Junior Cats Day, with elementary and middle school students from across the Big Country invited to cheer on ACU and learn more about the university. Select kids in attendance will have the opportunity to take on various in-match responsibilities.
ACU hosts Volley for a Cause at its Western Athletic Conference home opener versus Southern Utah on Thursday, Oct. 9 at 6 p.m. The night allows both Wildcat volleyball and the Abilene community to show their support for a specific initiative or charity meaningful to them. Supporters are encouraged to wear attire that represents their cause.
ACU recognizes Worldwide Wildcats in its match versus Utah Tech on Saturday, Oct. 11 at 1 p.m. The program will celebrate diversity across the ACU campus and the many contributions of those of different cultures and backgrounds.
The Wildcats' rivalry bout with Tarleton State on Saturday, Oct. 18 at 1 p.m. falls on Greek Day, in recognition of ACU's 14 fraternities and sororities. The match features a variety of engagement activities for students to bring the energy in Moody Coliseum.
Wildcats Out West is dedicated to the Big Country as ACU meets UT Arlington on Saturday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. Beginning shortly after the conclusion of Wildcat football's Homecoming matchup against Tarleton State, the match includes various Western activities, such as games, singing and dancing.
ACU will honor local heroes when it hosts California Baptist on Thursday, Nov. 13 at 6 p.m. on First Responders and Military Appreciation Night. Active and former members of the military, police, firefighters, emergency personnel and other first responders are invited to Moody Coliseum to be celebrated for their service, sacrifice and bravery.
The Wildcats close out the regular season with She Can Be and Senior Day as they take on Utah Valley on Saturday, Nov. 15 at 1 p.m. The She Can Be initiative seeks to empower women and girls and inspire them to achieve the aspirations they put their mind to. Additionally, seniors Ashli Edmiston and Becca Siedenburg will be recognized before the match for their accomplishments and contributions to the ACU volleyball program.
At the conclusion of the regular season, ACU hosts the WAC Tournament at Moody Coliseum for the first time ever on Nov. 20-22.
ACU will prepare for the 2025 campaign with the intrasquad Purple and White Scrimmage at 1 p.m. Friday at Moody Coliseum before meeting Angelo State in an exhibition match on Aug. 23 at the Dodge Jones Youth Sports Center (AYSA).
