ABILENE - Abilene Christian football will open its 2025 home slate with a pair of night games as kickoff times for its five matchups at Anthony Field at Wildcat Stadium were announced on -day.
The Wildcats will begin their quest for back-to-back United Athletic Conference titles at Tulsa on Saturday, Aug. 30. They'll take on Stephen F. Austin in their home opener on Saturday, Sept. 6, with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m.
Following a Saturday, Sept. 13 trip to Fort Worth, Texas to face TCU, ACU is back in Abilene on Saturday, Sept. 20 to begin conference play against Austin Peay at 7 p.m. The Wildcats will play at Incarnate Word in San Antonio on Saturday, Sept. 27 before meeting North Alabama at Wildcat Stadium at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4.
ACU travels to West Georgia and Southern Utah in consecutive weeks on Oct. 11 and Oct. 18, respectively, and returns to the Big Country on Saturday, Nov. 1 for its homecoming matchup with Tarleton State. The Wildcats and Texans will kick off at 3 p.m.
ACU's final regular season home game comes on Saturday, Nov. 8 at 2 p.m. versus Utah Tech. The Wildcats wrap up the regular season at Eastern Kentucky on Saturday, Nov. 15 and Central Arkansas on Saturday, Nov. 22.
ACU enters its fourth season under head coach
Keith Patterson after winning the UAC title and reaching the FCS playoffs for the first time in program history in 2024. The Wildcats achieved a 9-5 record with a 7-1 mark in conference action. They won their first-ever FCS playoff game with a 24-0 defeat of Northern Arizona at Wildcat Stadium.
