Box Score ABILENE - The ACU women's tennis team battled gusty winds from the west, and defeated UT Arlington 4-1 in a team dual on Wednesday afternoon.
The Wildcats improved to 3-10 this spring and ended a 4-match losing streak in the process.

Olivia Sears earned doubles victories to seal the point for the Wildcats.
Del Campo, Cascos and Sears each kept their momentum going into the singles competition. All three ladies won in straight sets over their counterparts from UTA.
Masha Vrsalovic and
Alice Klinteby were each tied after two sets in their respective matches, but with the final result secured they chose not to finish their matches.
ACU returns to the court to face the same Lady Mavericks squad on Saturday, March 29, but this time at the UTA Tennis Center in Arlington.
