Wildcats Unveil 2025-26 Women’s Basketball Promotional Schedule

ABILENE - Abilene Christian women's basketball released its promotional schedule for the 2025-26 season on Tuesday. The Wildcats will host 16 games at Moody Coliseum with a variety of promotions planned for each contest.

ACU kicks off the new campaign versus Howard Payne at 5:30 p.m. Monday, marking the opening of the Moody Tour. The rock and roll-themed game will feature a concert tour-style t-shirt giveaway for fans, who can purchase discounted $8 tickets for admission to the women's matchup and ACU men's basketball's contest with McMurry at 8 p.m.

The Wildcats host Incarnate Word at 6 p.m. on Nov. 7 for Big Country Night, highlighting the spirit and passion of West Texas while celebrating Native American History Month. ACU senior guard Natalia Chavez is one of only several Division I women's basketball players of Native American heritage. Fans can purchase tickets online for 25% off up to the day of the game.

ACU takes on UT Rio Grande Valley at 6 p.m. on Nov. 11 in its annual Salute to Service game. Free tickets are available for first responders and veteran, active duty and reserved service members and their dependents. General admission tickets will be available at the door for $8 for both the women's game and the men's matchup with Southwestern Adventist at 3 p.m.

Local opponent McMurry visits Moody Coliseum at 11 a.m. on Dec. 2 for ACU's Field Trip Day, presented by Domino's Pizza. Elementary school students from across the Big Country receive free admission to the game, with pizza and water provided. Students will have the opportunity to participate in various in-game activities.

Kicking off the ACU Christmas Classic, the Wildcats host Montana at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 19. Fans are encouraged to wear ugly Christmas sweaters to the game, with fans in the three ugliest sweaters receiving free tickets to ACU's matchup with Tarleton State on Jan. 8, 2026. A day later, on Dec. 20, the Wildcats take on Buffalo at 3 p.m. The game will feature a halftime performance by the Little Dribblers.

In its nonconference finale, ACU plays Nelson at 1 p.m. on Dec. 29 for Wildcat Family Day. Families are encouraged to head to Moody Coliseum for the afternoon matchup.

The Wildcats meet Tarleton State in their Western Athletic Conference home opener on Jan. 8 at 6 p.m. As part of a gameday gear deal, fans in ACU apparel can buy one ticket and get another for half off at the door.

The Wildcats celebrate Girl Scouts day when they match up with UT Arlington on Jan. 10 at 1 p.m. Local Girl Scouts will participate in in-game promotions and will be on site to sell cookies at Moody Coliseum. Fans can purchase a package of four general admission tickets for $30.

ACU takes on Southern Utah for ResLife Day on Jan. 17 at 1 p.m. The program will partner with ACU Residence Life to transport students that have returned to campus from winter break to Moody Coliseum for the game. There will also be a performance by the PKC Demo Team at halftime.

The Wildcats will pay tribute to the history and legacy of the women's basketball program at the Legends of Moody game versus Tarleton State on Jan. 24 at 1 p.m. ACU women's basketball former players will be recognized throughout the afternoon, and there will be a reception for alumni of the program postgame in the arena club level. ACU alumni can purchase half-price tickets at the door. Halftime will feature a diaper dash baby race.

The Wildcats will host Worship on the Court when they meet Utah Valley on Feb. 5 at 6 p.m. The game will feature worship music and testimonies from players and coaches, as well as a worship session at halftime.

Hendrick Health presents Hoops for a Hope on Feb. 7 at 1 p.m. when ACU plays California Baptist. Players and coaches will don pink uniforms and apparel, recognizing survivors and those currently battling cancer. The game will feature a raffle and t-shirt sales to support the Hendrick Hope Fund.

The Wildcats' matchup with Utah Tech on Feb. 26 at 6 p.m. is both Greek Night and a Purple Game, presented by First Financial. Student-athletes are invited to support ACU as it celebrates Black History Month with in-game recognition and activities. University student organizations and social clubs will also be on hand to represent themselves. 

Feb. 28 at 1 p.m. is She Can Be and Mentor Day, presented by Dr. Leslie Hutchins, as ACU plays Utah Valley. The Wildcats will recognize women in sport, their impact and their accomplishments. She Can Be participants will receive a t-shirt and badge and are invited to a pizza party. They will have the opportunity to participate in in-game activities. Additionally, mentors to the ACU women's basketball team will be recognized on the court.

In the final home game of the season, the Wildcats will celebrate Senior Night versus California Baptist on March 5 at 6 p.m. ACU senior Breanna Davis will be honored in a pregame ceremony, while local senior citizens will receive free tickets to the matchup. Sanctify, an ACU student group, will entertain fans with a performance at halftime.
