ABILENE – Abilene Christian University announced a softball leadership change on Tuesday.
Abigail Farler completed her fifth season at ACU in 2024.
"I want to thank Abigail for all the hard work and effort she put into leading our softball program," said ACU Vice President for Athletics Zack Lassiter. "I wish her and her family nothing but the best in their future endeavors."
The Wildcats' 25-26 record in 2022 was the best record since 2017 and the season was highlighted by a home win over Texas Tech.
Farler was 77-148 in her five seasons at ACU after a highly successful stop at Corban in the NAIA. She leaves ACU with 198 career wins.
A search for the next head coach will begin immediately.
