The Islanders are 12-2 on the season but had their hands full with ACU.
Andrea Guerrero won at No. 5 singles, in three sets, 4-6, 6-1, 6-1, and
Libby Blair won a hard-fought battle at No. 6 singles, 7-6 (8-6), 6-3.
Olivia Sears had a 5-4 lead in the third set of her No. 1 singles match against Emma Aucagne when the Islanders clinched the team victory.
The Wildcats host Sam Houston at noon on Saturday.
