RIVERSIDE, Calif. – California Baptist started the second half with a 17-2 run and defeated Abilene Christian on Thursday, 70-58.
CBU had a slim 31-27 lead at halftime and stretched it to 48-29 just over midway through the third quarter.
Bella Earle had a double-double for ACU with 15 points and 12 rebounds.
Payton Hull added 19 points and Zoe Jackson scored 10.
The Wildcats travel to Phoenix to take on Grand Canyon at 3 p.m. on Saturday.
