GCU Holds Off Wildcats

PHOENIX, Ariz. – Abilene Christian had a good second half but couldn't overcome a 13-point halftime deficit and fell at Grand Canyon on Saturday, 66-55.
Bella Earle led ACU with 17 points and six rebounds while Payton Hull added 10. ACU had 19 turnovers in the game.
The Cats outscored GCU in the third and fourth quarters and got within nine points on a late three-pointer by Gracy Wernli.
ACU returns to Moody Coliseum next week, hosting Southern Utah at 6 p.m. on Thursday and Utah Tech at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
