ABILENE – Abilene Christian gets back to the trails on Friday, running at the University of Arkansas' Chile Pepper Festival.

The women race at 4:30 p.m., followed by the men at 5 p.m.

Entered in the women's race are Peyton Bornstein, Katelyn Coldicott, Bella Evans, Kate Hansen, Tessa Holderman, Georgia Lee, Hadley Phillips and Autumn Smith.

For the men, Kevin Castruita, Gabe Embree, Mikhail Fortner, Samuel Lanham, Zach Martin, Jacob Russell, Garrison Shindler and O'Brien Verdin are in the race.

The field includes Arkansas, Lamar, Arkansas-Little Rock, Missouri State, North Texas, Oral Roberts, Rice, SMU, Southern Mississippi, Stephen F. Austin, Texas A&M-Commerce, TCU, Tarleton State, Texas Southern, Tulsa, Incarnate Word and Texas-Arlington.

Castruita has led the Wildcat men in both races this season with Embree, Shindler, Martin and Lanham joining him in the scoring five in those two races this season.

Bornstein has led the women's team in both races and Coldicott, Holderman and Hansen have taken spots in the top five in both races. Evans was the fifth Wildcat in the season opener at TCU and Kate Williams cracked the scoring group in the last run at Texas A&M.
