In last year's race, the ACU men ran one of their best races of the year, placing 11th in a field of 34 teams. The women placed 27th out of 37 teams. The men's 8K race begins at 8:30 a.m. and the start for the women's 6K race will be 9:15 a.m. Friday.
Coach Angel on the goal for this race:
"After three productive weeks of training we are stronger, wiser, and better prepared than we were at Oklahoma State. This Friday our focus is to close the gap between our 1-5 runners, compete with greater intensity, and race with confidence against our UAC foes. I'm excited to see how we perform this week. We certainly are ready."
