Berryhill Transfers to ACU Softball

ABILENE – Abilene Christian added Stephen F. Austin transfer Emily Berryhill to its roster for the 2023-24 academic year.
 
Berryhill, a 5-2 junior utility player, played in 74 games and started 54 in her two years at SFA.
 
"Emily brings experience and competitiveness to our roster that I am very excited about. She is an exciting player and a student of the game," said ACU Head Coach Abigail Farler. "Emily will compete in the infield and brings a proven, quality bat to the lineup!"
 
Berryhill graduated from Tom Glenn High School in Leander where she was a four-time first-team All-District selection. She earned Newcomer of the Year in 2018 and was team MVP in 2019 and 2021. Berryhill earned District Catcher of the Year honors in 2021 and was All-CenTex in 2019.
 
She also received Academic All-State recognition in 2019 and 2021.
 
Her father, Brett, played baseball at Sam Houston. Her mother is Misty Berryhill and her stepmother Is Jennifer Berryhill.
