WAC Selects Egbo for NCAA Leadership Forum

ABILENE – The Western Athletic Conference (WAC) selected Abilene Christian football's Anthony Egbo Jr. as a representative for the NCAA Student-Athlete Leadership Forum.
The forum, scheduled for April 13-16 in Baltimore, has served more than 5,000 student-athletes since its creation in 1997. Athletes, coaches and administrators learn leadership skills, learn about the inner workings of the NCAA, and hear from keynote speakers who share powerful stories and teachings. They also participate together in a community service project.
Each Division I conference office selects student-athletes from among active member schools and an administrator from the conference office.
Egbo, a junior defensive back from Richmond, Texas, is an Academic All-Conference selection.
"Anthony checks all the boxes," said ACU Head Football Coach Keith Patterson. "He's not the biggest guy, but he's around the ball, he's a leader on the football field, a terrific student and a good teammate. He's a leader in every area."
